Main Dishes – All-in-One Goodness

Main dishes make it easy to feed a crowd or put weekday dinners on the table. They often include most of our food groups and nutrients. They can often be prepared ahead and served with an easy accompaniment. Main dishes can range from meal-size salads to ethnic dishes to crock pot specialties, most of which consist of tasty blends of proteins, carbs, veggies and fruits. I like to make main dishes on weekends, when time to prep and cook is more at my disposal. I then enjoy the fruits of my labor during the week. Leftovers make for easy lunches and weekday meals. Here are some recipes for main dishes that give you all you need in one pot or bowl.
